Established in 2023, this collaboration aims to enhance both clubs through shared knowledge, workshops, and player transfers. The recent move of five players Ashiru Ibrahim, Daniel Odumu, Hamed Traore, Taofiq Yekini, and Opeyemi Falade to the Eagles marks a significant achievement in this venture.
Executive Vice Chairman of GreenLock FC, Funsho Clifton Peters, currently in the UAE, expressed satisfaction with the partnership. This alliance aligns with GreenLock FC’s long-term objectives, he shared, emphasising the academy’s role in creating pathways to professional careers for young talents. The academy is committed to advancing Nigeria’s football industry by preparing players for international exposure, particularly in the UAE market.
