Aldine ISD Leaders Bestowed Prestigious Statewide Technology Awards
The Texas Education Technology Leaders (TETL) company acknowledged the Aldine ISD Technology Department and Superintendent Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney for their development, leadership, and dedication to utilizing technology to change education at the 2025 TETL Summer Conference at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.
The Aldine ISD Technology Department, under the instructions of Chief Information Officer Adam Galvan, earned the 2025 TETL TEAM Award for exceptional district-wide innovation management. Galvan and his team were acknowledged for their leadership in developing technology systems that are robust, safe and secure, and flawlessly integrated into everyday training practices.
"Through a shared commitment to their core mission-'assist trainees learn, support teachers so they can teach, and make sure trainee and personnel information remains safe'-this team has implemented visionary and impactful technology efforts that have improved mentor and learning across the district's 80 schools," Greg Grimes, TETL Board Chair-Elect stated. "From a district-wide deployment of more than 30,000 interactive touchscreen gadgets- intentionally picked to support hands-on knowing and accommodate varied learning styles-to the effective launch of MagicSchool AI, an ingenious tool providing personalized, immediate feedback for students, the team has set a brand-new requirement for aligning innovation with direction."
The Technology Team was acknowledged for its precise planning, robust gadget management, targeted staff training, and seamless combination of technology into daily practice-creating available and enhancing finding out environments for each trainee.
"This group exemplifies the really best of what the TETL TEAM Award represents, and we are honored to acknowledge their management, innovation, and service to the students, personnel, and families of Aldine ISD," Grimes stated.
